About

The practitioners behind Skin Science Aesthetics.

A small, dedicated clinic in Capri. SAAHSP-certified aesthetic care from our founder; medical injectables from our visiting medical doctor. One quiet treatment room, two trained hands.

I started Skin Science Aesthetics for the kind of care I would want for my own skin.

Intentional. Clinical. Personal. Skin care done by someone who has time for you, and who has spent years learning how skin actually behaves.

The clinic is small for a reason. One quiet room, one unhurried hour, one client at a time. There's no rush, and there's no script. Every appointment begins with a conversation about what your skin is asking for — and what you'd love for it.

Our visiting medical doctor

The medical doctor in our treatment room.

Our doctor brings unusually wide training to the practice — somatology first, then physiotherapy, then medicine. That breadth shows in how she works: she reads the whole face, not just the line in front of her, and her approach is conservative by default.

She's the person to speak to if you're considering Dysport for the first time, returning after time away, or simply want a steady, medical eye on the line of treatment ahead.

What backs the practice

Two regulated practices, held to two standards.

Aesthetic therapy and medical aesthetics are two different regulated disciplines in South Africa. SAAHSP certification is the highest aesthetic-therapy benchmark — and the standard our founder holds. Medical doctors are separately licensed for injectables — the scope our doctor brings. The practice is held to both, in a setting built for the way we work.

SAAHSP

Certified aesthetic therapy

The South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals — the national body for medical-aesthetic certification, and the highest professional standard in the country. Our founder is SAAHSP-certified and was named Top Therapist 2025 — Cape Town and National. Peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion and facials sit under this scope.

MD

Registered medical doctor

Injectables in South Africa are a medical scope — performed only by registered doctors. Our visiting doctor brings a medical degree backed by somatology and physiotherapy training, and the considered, conservative hand we hold across the rest of the clinic.

Capri Sands

A dedicated, professionally appointed clinic

The clinic occupies its own suite at Capri Sands in Noordhoek — a calm, professionally appointed treatment room that gives every appointment the setting it deserves.

Philosophy

We look at your skin as a whole — not as a list of concerns to treat.

Skin behaves the way it does for reasons. Hormones, climate, history, habits, stress. A treatment plan that ignores those will only ever be a temporary fix.

So we begin with understanding. Then we choose treatments that suit your skin today — and revisit the plan as your skin changes. The goal is lasting confidence, not a quick before-and-after.

The clinic

One quiet room, made for the time you spend in it.

The space is warm and calm — soft light, neutral tones, room to breathe. There's no waiting area to share, no overlap with the next client, no rushed turnover. The time is yours — unhurried, undivided.

We work with two professional product houses: Lamelle (proudly South African) and Mesoestetic (Spanish, medical-grade). Both are certified, both are tested, and both have ranges suited to the questions your skin is currently asking.

Your skin tells a story. We help you write the next chapter.

Start with a consultation.

The first appointment is a conversation. We look at your skin, listen to what you'd love for it, and build an intentional plan together. There's no pressure, no agenda, and no fixed treatment on day one.
