Salicylic acid sits apart from most other peel chemistries because it's oil-soluble. Where lactic and glycolic acids work on the surface, salicylic travels into the pore — softening congestion, dissolving the lipid film around dead cells, and clearing the channel where blemishes begin.
Lamelle's Beta Peel uses a 15% salicylic formulation — strong enough to do meaningful work, gentle enough to fold into a course rather than a single forceful session. The peel itself is well-tolerated, with a mild tingling that settles quickly.
Clearer skin doesn't usually arrive in one session. It arrives across several, with the surface looking calmer, the pores looking smaller, and the cycle of breakouts quietly slowing.
This peel is purpose-built for blemish-prone skin. It's not a hydrating peel, and it's not for ageing — it's a focused tool for a specific concern.

Skin that runs oily, with visible pores and a quietly congested texture. Salicylic refines the channel and quietens the surface.
Once the active phase has settled, ongoing Beta Peel work helps keep things calm — particularly through stress, hormonal shifts, or seasonal changes.
Beta Peel is a working peel rather than a comfort treatment — the experience is calm, but the chemistry is doing real work.
We look carefully at the skin — active blemishes, congestion patterns, current routine. We discuss what your skin is doing, and whether Beta Peel alone is the right answer or part of a layered plan.
About 45 minutes. Thorough cleanse, prep, then careful application of the peel. You'll feel a tingling or mild stinging — well within comfortable, but noticeable — that settles within minutes.
Mild dryness and possibly a little flaking through the next two to four days, particularly across congested areas. We send you home with a clear, simple protocol — gentle cleansing, no actives, daily SPF, and what not to pick at.
Blemish work is course work. A clearing course is typically four to six sessions, two to three weeks apart, depending on how active the skin is and how it's responding.
Once the skin has settled, maintenance is usually every six to eight weeks — through stress, hormonal cycles, and the moments where flare-ups try to reappear.
Beta Peel pairs well with our Acne Purity facial on alternating visits, and with home support that we agree at the consultation.
Beta Peel suits most skin types where blemishes are the primary concern. Pregnancy, salicylate sensitivity, recent isotretinoin use and certain prescribed topicals change the plan. We discuss all of this at the consultation, and we'll always say so if a different starting point would suit.
Blemish work is layered — these are the treatments most often paired with Beta Peel.
A calm, thorough facial for blemish-prone or congested skin. Includes extraction where appropriate.
A Lamelle peel for congestion, redness and blemish-prone skin. Calms while it clears.
A Mesoestetic Jessner peel for the texture and post-inflammatory marks blemishes leave behind.

Blemish work is patient work. The first appointment is a careful conversation about your skin and what it needs — without pressure, and without a single-session promise we can't keep.
