What it is

The targeted answer to an unfair pigment story.

Pigmentation is a patient skin concern. Unlike texture or fine lines, it doesn't respond to a single bright treatment – it responds to a careful, multi-active strategy worked through over months. Melanostop Tran3x is one of the most precise tools we have for that work.

It's a tyrosinase-targeted Mesoestetic formulation built around tranexamic acid alongside complementary brighteners. Tyrosinase is the enzyme that drives pigment production; the formulation interrupts that cycle at multiple points, calming the skin's tendency to over-produce melanin.

It's particularly suited to melasma – the hormonally driven, sun-sensitive pigmentation that responds poorly to aggressive treatments and beautifully to patient ones.

What it's for

Where Melanostop is the right answer.

This is a treatment for pigmentation in its various forms. We choose it specifically – for the skin and the pattern that suits.

01

Melasma

The hormonally driven, often symmetrical pigmentation that flares with sun and fluctuates with hormone changes. Melanostop is one of the gentlest effective tools we have.

02

Sun damage

The accumulated, patchy hyperpigmentation from years of unprotected sun. Patient, steady treatments gradually even the tone.

03

Post-inflammatory marks

The darker shadows left after blemishes settle, particularly common in deeper skin tones. Melanostop softens these without destabilising the surrounding skin.

What to expect

A careful, calm session.

Melanostop is rarely uncomfortable – the chemistry is more about interruption than removal.

01

The consultation

Pigmentation work begins with a careful conversation about pattern, history, hormonal context, and sun exposure. We often recommend a short period of home prep before the first session.

02

The treatment

Cleanse, prep, careful layered application. The sensation is mild – soft warmth at most. The mask portion of the protocol stays on the skin to allow full absorption.

03

The aftercare

Almost no surface drama. Skin may look softly bright for a few hours, with no flaking or visible peeling. The most important aftercare is sun protection – without it, pigmentation work undoes itself.

Frequency & rhythm

Pigmentation work is patient work.

Treatments are spaced two to four weeks apart, often paired with structured home support. If a series suits you, the Even Tone journey bundles three sessions for R3,200 – a saving of R400.

From there, ongoing maintenance is usually every six to eight weeks, often through summer when pigmentation tries to deepen.

Melanostop is a long game. The most lasting results come from clients who pair the in-clinic work with consistent SPF, prescribed topicals where appropriate, and patience with the timeline.

Suitability

Pigmentation responds to careful planning, not aggressive intervention.

Melanostop suits most skin types and tones, and is particularly well-suited to deeper skin tones where harsher pigmentation treatments can backfire. Pregnancy, recent procedures, and certain medications change the plan. We'll discuss everything at the consultation, and only proceed when the plan is right.

Good to know

The questions we hear most.

If something isn't covered here, ask us – the first appointment is a conversation, and no question is too small.

What is Melanostop Tran3x best for?

It's a targeted Mesoestetic treatment for pigmentation, melasma and uneven tone – multi-active, gradual and lasting. It's particularly suited to melasma, the hormonally driven pigmentation that responds poorly to aggressive treatments and beautifully to patient ones.

How long until I see an even tone?

Pigmentation is patient work. Rather than one bright treatment, it responds to a careful, multi-active strategy worked through over months, with consistent sun protection doing much of the quiet support alongside.

How many sessions will I need?

We don't set a number upfront – treatments are spaced two to four weeks apart, and we review your tone as it gradually evens. If a series suits you, our Even Tone journey bundles three sessions for R3,200, a saving of R400.

Is it gentle enough for melasma-prone skin?

Yes – it's one of the gentlest effective tools we have for melasma, chosen precisely because aggressive treatments can make that kind of pigmentation worse.

Will the pigmentation come back?

Pigmentation is influenced by sun and hormones, so lasting results come from pairing the treatments with diligent SPF and the same careful eye on triggers we use across all pigmentation work.

What does a session cost?

A standalone Melanostop Tran3x session is R1,200. The treatment plan is shaped with you at the consultation.
