What it is

The gentlest place to begin.

Lactic acid is a member of the alpha-hydroxy acid family — and it's the gentlest of the working peel acids. It hydrates while it exfoliates, softens the surface without disrupting the barrier, and brightens without forcing.

Lactifirm is Lamelle's professional lactic-acid formulation. It's well-suited to skin new to peels, to clients with sensitivity concerns, and to anyone wanting a careful first step into resurfacing. The chemistry is precise, the approach is calm, and the results build session over session.

Skin walks out brighter, softer, and quietly more itself.

What it's for

Where Lactifirm shines.

This is a peel for hydration, glow, and gentle surface work — chosen specifically for skin that asks for renewal without dryness or downtime.

01

Dehydration & dullness

Skin that feels tight, looks dim, and isn't holding moisture the way it used to. Lactifirm restores both hydration and brightness in a single session.

02

First-time peels

If you're new to peeling, this is where we usually start. Calm, predictable, no surprises — and it lays the groundwork for stronger work later if your skin asks for it.

03

Sensitive skin

Reactive or easily irritated skin often does well with lactic. The hydrating action means the surface stays calm where harsher acids would protest.

What to expect

A calm 45 minutes.

Lactifirm is one of our most predictable treatments. Here's how the session flows.

01

The consultation

Brief skin history, a careful look, and a conversation about what you'd love. For first-time peels we may patch-test before booking — depending on your skin's reactivity.

02

The treatment

About 45 minutes. Cleanse, prep, then layered application of the peel with neutralisation as needed. You may feel a soft tingle or warmth — most clients describe it as comfortable.

03

The aftercare

No downtime. Skin may look softly flushed for an hour or two, settling quickly. We send you home with simple guidance: gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturiser, daily SPF — for 48 hours, no actives.

Frequency & rhythm

Best as a course.

Lactifirm builds with repetition. A typical course is three to four sessions, three to four weeks apart, for cumulative hydration, glow, and surface smoothness.

After the initial course, single sessions every six to eight weeks make for elegant maintenance — particularly useful seasonally, before an event, or as part of a layered peel rotation.

It pairs especially well with our H2Glow facial on alternating visits, for clients who want consistent glow with no downtime.

Suitability

Lactifirm is gentle — and we still take the consultation seriously.

It suits most skin types and tones, including darker skin and reactive complexions. Pregnancy, recent procedures, certain prescription topicals, and some medications change the plan. We discuss all of this at the consultation, and only proceed when the timing's right.
