What it is

A first facial done thoughtfully.

Teenage skin is doing something extraordinary — adapting, growing, occasionally erupting, and slowly settling into the skin it will become. It deserves the same care any other skin does, with one important difference: it asks for less.

Our teen facial is an age-appropriate first introduction to professional skincare. It's not a watered-down adult facial — it's a treatment designed specifically for young skin. Gentle cleansing, careful extraction where needed, and an honest conversation about home care that fits a teenager's life.

Just as importantly, it's an experience. A first facial done well sets the tone for a lifetime of considered, science-led skincare. We take that seriously.

What it's for

What this facial is for.

The teen facial is built for adolescent skin in its various forms. We adjust the protocol to suit what we find on the day.

01

First-time facials

A calm, age-appropriate introduction to professional treatment. No surprises, no pressure — and an opportunity to ask questions.

02

Early blemishes & congestion

The everyday breakouts and clogged pores that come with adolescent hormones. Gentle cleansing and careful extraction address both.

03

Building a real home routine

We use the appointment to talk through what your teen actually needs at home — usually less than they think — and to set up habits that will serve them for years.

What to expect

A gentle, unhurried 45 minutes.

The session is calm, age-appropriate, and structured around what young skin actually needs.

01

The conversation

A short, friendly chat — no clipboards or formal forms. We look at the skin, ask about routines and habits, and explain what we're going to do.

02

The treatment

About 45 minutes. Gentle double cleanse, soft exfoliation, careful extraction only where appropriate, calming mask, and a finishing moisturiser. Nothing aggressive, nothing rushed.

03

The aftercare

No downtime — possibly a soft flush across extracted areas for an hour. We send each teen home with a clear, written, simple home routine — usually only three or four products, and only what's actually needed.

Frequency & rhythm

A regular, supportive rhythm.

Through the teen years, every four to eight weeks tends to be the right rhythm — frequent enough to support the skin through the active years, gentle enough to avoid over-treating.

We often suggest a series in the early months — to build habits and get the skin into a calm baseline — then settle into a maintenance rhythm.

We're always honest with parents and teens about what's needed and what isn't. We don't push frequency, products, or upgrades.

Suitability

Teen skin asks for less than the world tries to sell it.

Our teen facial suits most adolescents from around 13 upwards, with a parent's awareness and consent for under-16s. We adjust the protocol fully for sensitivity, active blemishes, or any prescribed treatments your teen is using. Honest, gentle, and never pushy.
